We have a broad curriculum at Woolston Community High School with sufficient flexibilty to allow pupils to take a personalised learning package to best meet their needs, interests and aptitudes.

 In Key Stage 3 pupils follow the national curriculum.  In the majority of subjects pupils are setted by ability.  In Year 9 ICT pupils start work on an OCR National qualification.  We have a fast track Science class who will sit GCSE core Science at the end of Year 9.

In Key Stage 4 pupils can take a number of pathways

• GCSE qualifications
• GCSE and vocational qualifications (BTEC and/or OCR National)
• GCSE core subjcts + Diploma
• GCSE core subjects + GCSE/Vocational options + NVQ at College
• GCSE core subjects + NVQ at College + accredited extended work placement
